Brighton have extended the loan of Arsenal fullback Gavin Hoyte to the New Year.

The 19-year-old initially joined the Seagulls on-loan for one month in October, but is now staying on the south coast until 2nd January 2010.

Hoyte has impressed during his initial spell at Brighton, making six appearances for the League One side, who have just welcomed Gus Poyet as their new manager.
