Brighton have edged a point closer to safety with a goalless draw against Everton at AMEX Stadium.
The Seagulls moved above Burnley into 15th after a lacklustre clash on the south coast.
Graham Potter's side pushed for a winner but Neal Maupay and Lewis Dunk spurned late chances.
The result hardly helped Everton's chances of finishing in the top-four as they sit seven points behind West Ham with a game in hand.
A win would have all but secured Brighton's Premier League safety, but there is no doubt Potter and his team will be happy with a draw.
They next take on Chelsea on Tuesday, while the Toffees host Tottenham at Goodison Park on Friday.
