Brighton defender Adam Webster is on the radar of England coach Gareth Southgate.

The Daily Mail says Southgate has been alerted to the 27-year-old's performances in recent weeks as the England boss starts to think about his options for his team's two friendly matches in March.

Southgate's assistant Steve Holland is a regular at Brighton, and won't have failed to be impressed by Webster's recent displays.

Webster is set to come into consideration for a place in March's games, one of which will be against Switzerland.

England's scouting network will continue to keep tabs on Webster in the coming weeks but he is now firmly on Southgate's radar.
