Brighton defender Joel Veltman feels Erik ten Hag will be a success with Manchester United.

Veltman played for Ten Hag at Ajax.

He said, "I think it's a good choice, just because he's tactically really good, and I think that's the most important thing they need now.

"They have the big players. All the players have already shown that they are fantastic and can perform well in the league at the highest level, so they just need a coach who is like: 'Guys, you have to do this, this and that'.

"Of course he needs time, but I think he is probably the perfect match."
