Brighton defender Lewis Dunk: Wembley defeat something to build on

Brighton defender Lewis Dunk says they must build on their run to the FA Cup semifinals.

After defeat at Wembley to Manchester City, Brighton have two huge games over the next eight days, with a home double-header against Bournemouth and then Cardiff City.

"I don't think we need picking up," Dunk said after a creditable display against City. "I think we need to thrive off how we performed. We have to take the performance and put that into the Premier League.

"We were up against one of the two top teams in the Premier League at the moment, the champions, it was always going to be tough.

"We were probably written off before the game. When the draw came out I think everyone wrote us off. We showed that we are not just going to roll over, we are not just going to lay down and take it."
