Brighton deal in place for Charlton goalkeeper James Beadle

Brighton have a deal in place for Charlton goalkeeper James Beadle.

Charlton have agreed to a deal for him to join Albion which will see a “significant" sum of money head their way, says the South London Press.

The 17-year-old stopper has attracted a lot of interest due to the potential he has shown for Charlton's youth sides.

Charlton have also agreed to a sell-on clause, meaning that they will receive a percentage of any future transfer fee.

If the reports are true Beadle will likely join the Albion youth academy with the aim of becoming the future number one at some point at Falmer stadium.
