Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being linked with the Brighton job.
Solskjaer has been out of a job since his exit from United last November.
The Manchester Evening News says the Norwegian head coach has made the shortlist to replace new Chelsea boss Graham Potter at the Amex Stadium.
Solskjaer was this week said to have taken charge of his son Elijah's under-14s team in a match back in Norway.
