Brighton chief Barber: Prem suspension unanimous decision

Brighton chief exec Paul Barber insists it was an unanimous decision to suspend the Premier League.

The season has been suspended for three weeks due to the coronavirus scare in the UK.

Barber told BBC Sport: “Yes it was. I think it was absolutely the right thing to do and at this time, we've got to prioritise people's health.

"As much as we all love football and as much as we wanted 30,000 people at the AMEX today to play Arsenal , it wouldn't have been the right thing to do and it isn't the right thing to do at this time."
