Premier League interest is arriving for Barcelona B captain Ramon 'Monchu' Rodriguez.

Mundo Deportivo says Brighton and Bournemouth are reportedly eyeing up a move for Monchu.

The Catalan giants' reserve team skipper has enjoyed a stellar season so far, scoring eight goals from midfield and he has also garnered interest from Germany.

His fine performances could now see the Premier League duo fight it out for his services and both are willing to offer a loan-to-buy package in order to tempt Barcelona into selling him.

Monchu is valued at £1.7million (€2m) by Barcelona and any deal that would see him leave would most likely include a buy-back clause.

The Spaniard has made 26 appearances this season, where he has also provided three assists.
