Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi admits he misses Italian football.

The former Sassuolo coach took charge of Brighton earlier this season after leaving Shkahtar Donetsk.

De Zerbi said: "I'm enjoying myself in the Premier League, perhaps because I was forced to stop for 10 months, from December to October. I was in withdrawal from football and I enjoy it.

"Then, I'm Italian, I'm proud to be Italian and I miss Italy, I take it as an experience to improve and learn things that you couldn't learn by always staying in the same country.

"Ukraine? My bond with the Shakhtar men will always remain, that's for sure."
