Brighton boss Potter: We deserve more points

Brighton boss Graham Potter insists they can be happy with their season.

Brighton are safe for another season and meet West Ham on the weekend.

Potter said: “Sometimes you can look at a team that has 37 points and think they're lucky to have that many, but I would say we're the opposite, we should have more to show for our performances.

"The higher up the table, the better for us. We've achieved our first goal of staying up. We want to finish off with as many points as we can. We're ambitious, we're facing three top teams, but that's what we want, to take on the best."

Potter also says Adam Lallana will be fit for the clash with West Ham.

He continued: "He trained fully today, so we will see how he is over the next 48 hours, but I would say at this point he is available for the squad this weekend.

"Joel Veltman is still recovering and Davy Propper rolled his ankle, so for both of them this game probably comes too soon. Apart from that, we should be OK."
