Brighton boss Graham Potter says they must be careful with Danny Welbeck's fitness.
Keeping fit has been the problem for Welbeck with injuries hampering him throughout his career.
But Potter is wary of overloading the former England international.
He said: “Danny has had a massive week in terms of three games and it is the first time he has done that for quite a while.
“But obviously with his background we have to be careful as we want to use Danny for the rest of the season.
“So, I just felt that for the back end of the Sheffield United game he might help us and then use Aaron (Connolly) and Neal (Maupay) because we have won games with Aaron and Neal previously.
“That was the decision, but I was delighted for Danny that he could come on and help the team."
