Brighton boss Potter upbeat despite Leicester loss

Brighton boss Graham Potter is remaining upbeat about the team's prospects, despite crashing out of the Carabao Cup.

The Seagulls battled hard in the fourth round clash away from home, twice coming from behind to level matters.

However, Leicester were the ones who held their nerve after the game ended in a 2-2 draw at 90 minutes, winning the resulting penalty shoot out 4-2.

Speaking after the game, Potter said, per The Argus: "Really positive team performance, I thought lots of individuals performances were really positive.

"Overall it optimises the spirit of the team and group, with people coming in and helping the team and playing with personality

"Disappointed that we went out, but happy with the guys."
