Brighton boss Graham Potter has revealed plans to secure Danny Welbeck to a new contract.
Brighton spurned the chance to earn a valuable victory at the weekend as they took the lead only to come away empty-handed - losing 2-1 at Manchester United.
Danny Welbeck scored against his former club to make it two goals in two games for the Seagulls and manager Potter confirmed the club is looking to agree a new contract with the former England striker.
"He's in a good moment, we're really happy with him and his return for us," said Potter.
"We were frustrated to lose him for a bit, but he's fantastic around the group. We'll sit down at the end of the season and find the right solution for everyone."
