Brighton boss Graham Potter refused to blame Robert Sanchez for defeat to Leicester City.
The goalkeeper came for and missed the corner from which Daniel Amartey gave Leicester their 2-1 win at the Amex.
Sanchez had enjoyed one of his best games yet in the Premier League up to that point, including a superb save from Sidnei Tavares.
Head coach Potter said of the goal: “I haven't had chance to see it back.
“It's not a great goal from our perspective but we win and lose as a team. “Rob made a fantastic save. He helped us out a lot with takes from crosses as well. If it is (a mistake) it is, it's part football. That wasn't the total reason. Our performance level in the second half wasn't as good as we would like it to be."
