Brighton boss Potter: Lamptey ready for Swansea

Brighton manager Graham Potter is hopeful Yves Bissouma will be fit enough for Monday's derby clash with Crystal Palace.

However, the Mali midfielder will miss Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash against Swansea City after injuring his knee against Leicester City last weekend.

Potter told The Argus: "Yves is recovering quite well. We're hopeful that he will train at the back end of the week.

"He won't be involved for the Swansea game, but we're hopeful that he can play against Crystal Palace."

However, Potter said right-back Tariq Lamptey could return against the Swans.

He said: "He's in the squad, he's going to be in the 18 so there's a good chance.

"It will be great for him and great for them [the fans] because he's had a frustrating time.

"He's an exciting player, we forget of course because he's played a lot of his games behind closed doors so it will be fantastic for everybody for him to be on the pitch."
