Brighton boss Graham Potter is happy hearing Adam Webster is being mentioned as an England contender.
The first suggestions are starting to be heard that Gareth Southgate should be taking an interest in Webster.
Potter said: “I haven't heard anything about that.
“It's up to Gareth to decide that but we are delighted with Adam.
“I think he has made some progress. I think there is still a lot for him to do as well, which is exciting.
“He is not at his maximum but I thought his performance (at Anfield) was sensational.
“He defended the box really well, was playing with the ball, some really important challenges and tackles.
“I think his was a first-class centre-back performance."
