Brighton boss Potter expects tough Cup night against Leicester

Brighton boss Graham Potter expects a tough Carabao Cup night against Leicester City.

Both sides will make changes for the Carabao Cup fourth-round tie which is sandwiched between Premier League games against Manchester City and Liverpool for Potter's men.

“It's a tough week with League games against two of the best sides in the world and Wednesday against a Leicester side who are not far off that standard," said Potter.

"[Leicester manager] Brendan Rodgers has assembled an excellent squad, and they have been impressive in how they have worked. Not so long ago they were Premier League champions.

"They are competing to get into those Champions League spots and top four, which is really difficult, and they are doing it in a good way.

"Whoever they play will be a test for us which is great for our players. We want our guys to be ready for that and we are looking forward to the game. We know we are playing against a very talented team, whoever they choose, but it's a game we are looking forward to."
