Brighton boss Graham Potter was delighted with Jurgen Locadia's performance for their 4-0 friendly win over Birmingham City.
The Dutchman scored one and assisted another at St Andrew's, and the boss spoke about the striker's qualities following the convincing victory.
He said, “Jurgen is a player with a lot of potential, and he's one of a number of players that we want to try and improve.
“That's the job I have, and he's applied himself really well since I've arrived. He's had a tough time since he's been here, and it probably hasn't gone as well as he would have wanted.
“That happens in football sometimes, and you have to keep working hard.
“He's been good to work with, and hopefully that can continue."
