Brighton boss Chris Hughton was already looking to Wednesday's game with Chelsea after a poor defeat at home to Southampton.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's second-half strike was the difference between the two sides on the south coast, and the Seagulls boss has challenged his team to react to the defeat when they travel to Stamford Bridge during the week.
He said, “The game on Wednesday evening is the most important one this week because it's the next one.
“I expect and need a performance against Chelsea, even though we pushed late on to get an equaliser, our performance today wasn't good enough to win us the match.
“The midweek game is my only thought – not the weekend, because it [Chelsea] will be another difficult game."
