Brighton returned to winning ways after a 1-0 triumph over Huddersfield.
Substitute Florin Andone scored the only goal after 79 minutes of a nervy encounter whick marked Brighton's first win of 2019.
Seagulls boss Chris Hughton said, “There's a feeling of relief — it feels like a big win, but I think any win from now until the end of the season will feel like a big win.
“It wasn't dramatically different to a lot of our previous games, where I thought we had good spells in the game and difficult spells, but we haven't been able to score.
“For us it's almost a perfect result. We've kept a clean sheet, which also makes us that little more solid.
“We didn't have many chances, but there's probably not anyone that would think that we didn't deserve to win the game."
