Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi is ready to test himself against Manchester City's Pep Guardiola tomorrow.

The Seagulls go to City yet to win under De Zerbi.

He said, "For me he is the number one coach.

"I appreciated him when he worked in Barcelona, Munich and Manchester City.

"Tomorrow for us is a very difficult game but it is very nice to play against Manchester City.

"For sure we try to play with the same idea, with the same mentality."

On whether Guardiola is the hardest manager to play against, he added: "If Klopp says that I think he is right.

"The most important things in football is the result. For everybody. One coach can choose the way to achieve the result. Coach can't choose the result, it's totally different.

"I already have the first XI. There are two or three players with some fatigue problems. Today in training I want to understand the exact [extent].

"Manchester City for me, are the best team in the Premier League and one of the best in Europe. You have to defend with maximum concentration.

"You have to be focused and I think you have to try to attack. If you want to defend for 90 minutes then that is not my idea, it is not the right decision to find the result. We have to find the result."
