Brighton attacker Alexis Mac Allister was delighted with his role in Argentina's World Cup win against Poland.

Mac Allister in the triumph which now sees Argentina meet Australia in the round of 16.

He said: "I'm happy because it was a compelling achievement.

"We were looking for the goal all the time and I think we returned to be the team that we used to be.

"We controlled the ball more, we felt calm and we didn't panic. We played a big match."
