Brighton are in talks with Danny Welbeck over a new contract.
The 30-year-old joined Brighton on a free transfer last October after being released by Watford.
After scoring six Premier League goals, the Seagulls want Welbeck to stay.
The Argus reports talks between the concerned parties are underway.
Speaking about Welbeck in May, Albion boss Graham Potter said: "Danny has done enough to earn a new contract.
"We have had to focus on finishing the season as strongly as we can.
"We're happy with what he's done – I know he can keep improving and show more."
