Brighton agree Facundo Buonannote terms with Rosario Central as Tevez says 'he reminds me of Messi'

Brighton are set to sign Rosario Central midfielder Facundo Buonannote.

The Seagulls have reached terms with Rosario for the 17 year-old prospect.

Brighton will pay around £8-10m to sign Buonannote, plus a 20 per cent cut of any future sell on fee.

He will sign a deal to 2027.

Rosario chief Carlo Tevez said of the teen: "The brake and when he accelerates reminds me a lot of (Lionel) Messi.

"It's been a long time since I've seen a boy play like that, that gives me so much pleasure, and I watch a lot of football. He is at a very high level, one thinks that he has no ceiling, it is where he wants to go. Today he is physically impeccable."
