Sydney FC have been given a boost on the eve of their A-League season opener with news that Mark Bridge has signed a contract extension.
The 24-year old striker has penned a two-year deal to remain with the reigning champions until the end of 2013 joining striker partner Alex Brosque who did likewise recently.
Bridge signed the deal yesterday as the Sky Blues prepare for Saturday's Grand Final rematch with arch rivals Melbourne Victory.
