Bridge ready for Man City comeback against Hull

Wayne Bridge is ready to play for Manchester City against Hull this weekend.

The Sun says City's left-back is keen to play at Hull as he tries to block out the scandal and betrayal he has suffered in his private life.

Bridge has recovered from the knee injury which has kept him out since the 2-1 home win over his former club Chelsea on December 5.

Little did he know then that best friend and Blues skipper Terry had been having an affair with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, the mother of Bridge's son.

News broke last Saturday of the four-month affair.

Bridge, 29, went to Eastlands to see his team-mates ahead of Sunday's victory over Portsmouth.

He has not asked for any extra time off and is expected in training today.
