Brescia admit Lazio are closing in on winger Panagiotis Kone.

Brescia President Gino Corioni says he's optimistic that the switch can be completed.

"He is a player who is of interest to a lot of clubs, but we already have an agreement with Lazio President Claudio Lotito," Corioni said.

"A lot depended on the sale of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Lazio to Juventus, so now we are waiting for an answer from Lotito.

"We're hopeful that the decisive call will arrive."
