Brescia president Cellino tells Balotelli: Don't force me to terminate your contract

Brescia president Massimo Cellino is encouraging Mario Balotelli to leave.

Cellino admits his "gamble" hasn't worked out.

“I lost the Balotelli bet badly. I tried, Mario did the rest," he told the Corriere della Sera. “Brescia, the comeback for Italy, the European Championship, home, mother, brother, friends, I thought the conditions were all there.

“No way. Mario lives above the rules, or with rules of his own, you tell him one thing and he does another.

“[Agent Mino] Raiola occasionally asks me to give him a hand to see if he can find another team, but I already have my own problems."

The owner reveals Brescia and Balotelli could part ways ahead of time.

“The team itself is at this moment distant from him. We are not talking about a boy; Mario is turning 30. I would not want to arrive to a point of terminating his deal, I hope I'm not forced to do it."
