Brescia coach Diego Lopez has revealed clear-the-air talks with Mario Balotelli.

Lopez admits the striker could be allowed to join training this week.

“He needs time," explained Lopez. “The team worked really well in training and when he returns, Mario will need to do exactly the same thing.

“I talked to him, it's the first day we really met since the lockdown. I told him all the same things I said in the media, but everyone is in charge of their own destiny. We're all grown-ups, I am a coach for 25 players and not just him.

“Mario said I was right. We talked about everything and I do want to defend him, but right now the group has taken one path and he has taken another."
