Brereton Diaz ready to leave Blackburn amid major Prem interest

Ben Brereton Diaz has decided to leave Blackburn Rovers, it has been revealed.

Sky Sports says Brereton Diaz has 'no intention' of signing a new Rovers contract in light of Premier League interest.

The striker has been offered a significant pay rise to stay at Ewood Park, but wishes to explore other opportunities.

Rovers are desperate to keep hold of their star asset, and insist he is not for sale unless his £15m asking price is met.

However, Brereton Diaz's current contract is up next summer, and the Lancashire club know he could then walk away for free.

West Ham, Everton, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are all interested in the forward who struck 22 times in the Championship last season.
