Brentford targeting Nigerian midfielder Onyeka

Brentford could be ready to make their first signing since gaining promotion to the Premier League.

Nigeria midfielder Frank Onyeka is said to interest the Bees as they look to avoid relegation next season.

Sky Sports News reports Brentford are in talks to sign the 23-year-old, who has a single Nigeria cap.

Onyeka currently plays in Denmark for FC Midtjylland.

He impressed scouts during the club's Champions League group stage run last season.

Both Brentford and Midtjyllanad are owned by the same person, Matthew Benham.
