While he has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, Brentford are making a firm move for the Scot.

Hickey made a £1.5m move from Hearts to Bologna in September 2020 despite a rival offer from Bayern Munich.

Now the Bees are ready to make a bid for the defender as rivals hesitate.

The Daily Mail says they're willing to offer £18m to convince Bologna to part with Hickey.
