Brentford star Christian Eriksen will captain Denmark in a friendly match at Parken Stadium on Tuesday against Serbia.
The Dane made his comeback to the national team on Saturday against the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
Now he will get to play at home for the first time since he suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch during Denmark's Euro 2020 game against Finland last summer.
Kasper Schmeichel has been the nation's stand-in skipper for the injured Simon Kjaer.
But he suggested that Eriksen take the role for the upcoming game, per the Associated Press.
