Brentford are showing a serious interest in Portuguese wonderkid Francisco Moura.

The left-back, who is only 22, was close to leaving Braga for Barcelona before he experienced a cruciate ligament injury last November.

According to The Sun, he is now on the newly promoted Premier League club's radar for the January transfer window.

The Bees want to secure him for a bargain, ideally lower than his £25 million release clause.

Brentford officials went to watch Moura for Braga against FC Porto, a game they lost 1-0.
