Brentford are moving for Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard.
Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio is reporting the Bees are targeting the Denmark international.
Brentford have offered €11m plus €7m in bonuses to land Damsgaard.
Sampdoria have rejected the offer, but negotiations are continuing.
The midfielder has been on the Bees' radar for the past 12 months.
