Brentford have offered personal terms to Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson.
The Bees are hoping to beat their Premier League rivals to signing the 20-year-old, per The Independent.
Leicester City, Newcastle United and Everton are all scouting the Forest academy graduate, whilst Spanish side Villarreal are all also interested.
Johnson's contract expires in 2023, but the Wales international will only consider signing a new deal if Forest win promotion.
It is expected that Forest would accept an offer of £20-25m.
Brentford have made the most progress in the pursuit of Johnson.
Everton have also held talks with the player's representatives, although any deal would rest on their survival from relegation.
