Brentford goalkeeper Sorensen full of pride after facing Spurs pair Son, Kane

Brentford goalkeeper Mads Bech Sorensen was full of pride after facing Tottenham's star strikers last week.

The young Dane was between the posts for the Carabao Cup semifinal defeat to Spurs and says he learned from facing Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

He told Bold: "It was exciting and fun to try to be measured with two of the sharpest in the world right now.

"It was cool to play against them and I felt good that I could be with them.

"They have some quality that you do not see so often, and they just need half an opening to get through, so it was about being on your toes.

"I'm sure I learned a lot from that match. Harry Kane is incredibly smart and finds some good positions, and of course you have to learn to handle that."
