Brentford eager to upgrade keeper David Raya contract

Brentford are eager to upgrade goalkeeper David Raya's contract.

Football.London says his current deal is due to expire in 2024 and it is no surprise given Raya was one of Brentford's best players in their debut Premier League campaign last season.

Raya joined the Bees from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2019, and after a rocky start in West London, he has proven to be one of Thomas Frank's key players and has made the transition from Championship to Premier League football like a duck to water.

The Spaniard was complimented by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after Brentford's topsy turvy 3-3 draw against Liverpool back in September, with the German stating that the Bees keeper could have had the number 10 on the back of his shirt.
