Brentford chief Greg Dyke says they have been approached by Peterborough over the possibility of boss Andy Scott taking over at London Road. The Bees received an enquiry from the Championship strugglers earlier this week in the wake of Darren Ferguson's departure from Peterborough.
"There was an approach from Peterborough earlier in the week, but as yet I have heard nothing further on the matter," Dyke told the Hounslow and Brentford Times.
"My understanding is they are working through a shortlist of four candidates.
"You'd have to ask Andy if managing Peterborough - who are bottom of the Championship - is a better job."
