Brentford boss Smith desperate not to lose Hull target Hogan

Brentford boss Dean Smith insists they do not want to lose Scott Hogan.

Smith is hoping to ward off interest in Brentford's star striker Scott Hogan.

The former Rochdale frontman only returned from long-term injury towards the end of last season, but has been linked with a £7million move to Hull and Derby.

But Smith said: “Scott Hogan is another major player for us. People were talking about him after only a couple of games this season.

“We want Scott around and we are happy that he is our player."
