Brentford boss Frank hails Wissa after victory over West Ham

Brentford boss Thomas Frank was pleased with their 2-0 win against West Ham.

Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa struck for the Bees.

Frank later said, "It was a very good performance. It is the most convincing 2-0 win in history. We were in complete control throughout the game.

"The first goal high pressure, we won it high and had a very quick transition and produced a very good goal. The long throw paid off again. We had five, six, seven good chances too.

"I'm so happy with Yoane Wissa that he got a well-deserved goal. We needed him to step up with Ivan Toney out and he did that.

"Finishing in the top half is an unbelievable result. Now we'd like to climb as high as possible"

On the disallowed West Ham goal, he added: "It clearly hit the hand and changed direction, that is the rule. If there is something we don't agree with we maybe need to look at changing the rule. I feel a little bit irritated that we have to speak about that goal with how dominant we were."
