Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits the abuse he cops can be tough to handle.

Frank was reacting to comments made by former Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce over the hostility he felt from fans.

"It's so easy to just criticise the coach. In today's football, it is apparently part of being criticised as soon as things do not go your way," said Frank.

"I love working in football and I have been lucky enough to meet many fantastic people.

"But that kind of thing makes you react and it is clear that you sometimes wonder if it is worth it."
