Brentford B coach MacFarlane welcomes Como clash today

Brentford B face Serie B Como later today in Italy.

The Italian side who will aim to give players minutes as they prepare for a league fixture this Sunday. The match will be played behind closed doors at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia with kick-off at 3pm local time.

Bees coach Neil MacFarlane said, “It's going to be a brilliant test against a first team in Serie B. It's going to be an outstanding occasion for the boys. They've risen to everything that we've asked of them and they will continue to do that.

“Win, lose or draw the group are giving us absolutely everything. We've got some unbelievable momentum at the moment and we want to keep that going, not just into Como, because we've got Blackburn in the fourth game in the Premier League Cup as well (on Saturday 26 November). We want to keep going and progress to the knockout stages."
