Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane stated that his side have plenty to learn after defeat at Como.
The Bees' second string were beaten by Como 1907 in Italy on Tuesday in a friendly match.
The Serie B side won 3-1, having taken a 2-0 lead into the half-time interval.
After the game, in which Aaron Pressley scored for Brentford, MacFarlane told club media: “I think it was a fantastic test for our young players to come here and play Como's first team who are a strong Serie B side.
“It's the sort of test that we want and exactly the difference in our fixture programme that we want to create.
“We played the Premier League Cup tie against Peterborough which was a fantastic game. We came out here a few days later and had another outstanding game against men and that's what we want."
