Brentford and Rangers are chasing IFK Gothenburg midfielder Alhassan Yusuf.
Nigeria's Today reports via Fotboll Transfers a move to the UK is on for the young attacker.
Gers and Brentford have already contacted IFK regarding Yusuf's availability. The 20-year-old has a contract to June 2022.
Bees manager Thomas Frank is active in the Scandinavian transfer market this summer as he prepares for their first ever Premier League campaign. Scottish title winners Rangers, meanwhile, can offer Yusuf Champions League football next season.
IFK are prepared to sell the 20 year-old - but insist he won't leave on the cheap.
Yusuf was recruited by IFK three years ago after being spotted playing in his home nation for FC Hearts Nigeria. The midfielder quickly established himself as a first teamer in the competitive Allsvenskan.
This season, Yusuf has played nine games for IFK, producing one assist.
The diminutive midfielder has confirmed this week he's changed agents from Global Soccer Management led by Patrick Mork to Stellar Group.
