Brazilian great Tostao says Real Madrid starlet Vinicius Junior still has much to improve.

Tostao insists the youngster isn't ready to play for the national team.

"Vinicius has to grow a lot to be Neymar's teammate in the 2022 World Cup or to be the star in the 2026 World Cup," he snapped.

"There is not a great craque without a great technique. Vinicius is another example of the rush of society to produce idols. Some journalists want him to be a starter at Real Madrid.

"If he does not become a great player, he will be treated like an unsuccessful footballer, as happened with Robinho and others."
