Tottenham Hotspur are set to complete the signing of former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato, according to reports from Yahoo Brazil.

Pato has found a new lease of life since making a move back to Brazil from Milan a couple of seasons ago and as a result, a host of European clubs have expressed their interest in signing the Corinthians striker in recent times.

Liverpool were said to be leading the race to sign Pato, who is on loan at Sao Paulo, but now according to reports from Yahoo Brazil, it has been claimed that Spurs are on the verge of securing the signing of the 26-year-old.
