It looks as though Willian will not be returning to Brazil anytime soon.
There was intense speculation over the Chelsea midfielder's future this summer, with a move to Manchester United mooted. However, he has been excellent under Maurizio Sarri and scored a fabulous gaol against Burnley on Sunday.
While many Brazilians favour a return to their homeland towards the end of their careers, 30-year-old Willian wants to play in Europe for as long as possible.
"I have a great affection for Corinthians, a club where I was revealed, I joined the club at the age of nine, I have a lot of friends at the club, I know a lot of people, I've always been a corintiano since I was a kid," Willian told Fox Sports (via UOL).
"To finish my career at Corinthians would be nice, but it's not my idea to go back to Brazil, I don't know if I want to play in Brazil again. I'm very good here in Europe, I intend to continue here."
