Brazil coach Tite is on Tyneside to see Newcastle United and Aston Villa this weekend.

It'll provide Magpies duo Bruno Guimaraes and Joelintin with the opportunity to show they deserve to be a part of the Selecao squad at the World Cup. Guimaraes had dinner with Tite at Rio Steakhouse in Jesmond on Friday, and is well acquainted with the head coach of the national team, says Chronicle Live.

However, for Joelinton, this poses the first real opportunity to impress Tite with the World Cup just weeks away. The combative midfielder has been a revelation under Eddie Howe since dropping into a deeper role and has rightly taken the plaudits for his fine performances.

Tite is said to be finalising the final few spots in his 26-man squad. Douglas Luiz and Philippe Coutinho will also be under the watchful eye of the Brazil boss - in the oppositions ranks.
